The Technology Group at Energy OnRamp advises and assists our clients utilize their current technology more efficiently. EOR also advises their clients on the latest energy technology information to recognize today’s opportunity in the energy industry and operate their companies more efficiently.
Energy OnRamp’s Mineral Group assists mineral owners with the information that they need to realize the opportunity that currently exists regarding their assets. EOR helps our clients with the information that they need to more efficiently manage their mineral interests.
The Strategic Consulting Group utilizes its experience to advise select clients on acquisitions and divestment of energy related upstream, midstream and service assets. EOR also has the information to advise clients on corporate development and strategies to capture new opportunity.
Energy OnRamp Team
Roy Jackson is the founder of Energy OnRamp and over his 41 year career in oil and gas has demonstrated the ability to develop opportunities for his clients.
Starting his career in “the patch” in 1977, Roy started developing his energy network with tenures at Schlumberger, National Oilwell (Bowen) and Homco International. He has directed the sales and marketing efforts at energy software companies involved in upstream accounting, including Midland Southwest Software (OGAS) and WolfePak.
Mr. Jackson has extensive experience in the acquisitions & divestment of oil and gas assets. Jackson has successfully completed over 200 transactions, totaling over one half billion dollars in oil and gas upstream, midstream and service related assets. He was the co-founder of Capital Energy Advisors and Simon Energy Advisors. Jackson also was formerly a principal partner at Simplex Energy Solutions in Midland, TX.
Roy is a member of PBPA, ADAM Permian, and SPE. He is also past chairman of FEPA, a Permian focused networking forum for the Energy Industry.
VP, Special Projects
Before bringing his talents to the Energy OnRamp Team, Stephen was President of One Cypress Advisory Solutions, a firm that providing business consulting services to companies in the midstream and upstream sector of the energy industry. They specialized in managing assets that were in restructuring situations and provided expertise from back office transaction processing through engineering. Prior to One Cypress he served as CFO for Reveille Resources and Oil & Gas Production Company and was a Partner with a regional account firm, McGinnis, Owen & Berger LLP.
Stephen is an active member in several industry organizations and associations including: Independent Petroleum Association of America, Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies and Turnaround Management Association.
Mr. Owens has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1988 and graduate from UT Arlington with a BBA in Finance in 1977.
Prior to joining Energy OnRamp, Morgan attended New Mexico Military Institute for both high school and junior college, where the school motto was, “Duty, Honor, and Achievement”. While a cadet, she served as a Major on the Regimental Staff, and was one of the highest-ranking females in the corps of cadets. She worked very closely with the Commandant of the school in event planning and security in her position as Head of the Constabulary at NMMI. Morgan graduated with honors from this prestigious institution. After graduation she attended New Mexico State University where she earned her degree in Business Administration.
She began working in the Oil and Gas industry at Trilogy Operating, Inc., a Midland based oil and gas exploration and production company during the Summers while still attending school and then began to work full-time once she graduated. Her experience included maintaining an operational office by facilitating communication throughout the company with vendors and the public by using multiple forms of communication.
Morgan then pursued a career as an independent insurance agent for Washington National, one of the largest supplemental insurance companies in the nation. There, she excelled through outstanding customer service paired with hard work and dedication. She provided customer service for existing clients such as filing claims, reviewing coverage, and updating coverage and benefits. Morgan made cold calls in order to penetrate market to increase client base and made sales presentations to both new and existing clients in their homes and offices. Amazingly, in her first six months with Washington National she was named the “Top agent producer in Texas”.
Melinda M. Seitz, Land Manger for Energy OnRamp, brings over 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry together with a vast knowledge of mineral title and a strong legal background. Melinda has spent the past 7 years in Texas with the majority of that time in the Permian Basin. She has also worked in Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Illinois, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kansas and New Mexico.
Melinda received a Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from the Mississippi University for Women and earned her MBA from Ole Miss.
